I do think the parking spaces at the Parking Spot are nicer and wider. We borrowed an older vehicle instead of putting our nice car up there, due to the sun and the heat. The car was fine when we returned, the price to park on the deck was fair. Possibly the same girl, but hard to know since she buried her face in a book rather than hand us the promised bottle of water on the way out. But once again, the gate attendant as we left was just as lazy and disinterested as the one on the way in.

The shuttle drivers were gracious and accommodating outbound and inbound.

Keep the bar code on your phone, you'll be showing it again multiple times as you leave, which is extra stupid if you ask me. Makes sense, but it is a pain in the neck. Speaking of bar codes - You must keep showing yours to a card reader as you pass from one level to the next. Not so at PreFlight -we felt like we had inconvenienced her.

I prefer the warm smile and welcoming hello! at Parking Spot. Well, duh for me, but this lady works there and should have jumped to my aid before 5 minutes had passed. Mine was not working and I didn't realize I could just bring up my reservation on my phone and use the barcode from the download. PreFlight bases your entry and exit on a bar code that you print off in advance. Gate attendant - ugh! If I never have to deal with that woman again, it will be a good thing. But there were a few things that could be improved: Overall we were pleased with the important part: price and safety. In the past we have used the Parking Spot and gave PreFlight a shot based on a recommendation. Either way, make sure you give your frequent parker card to also earn more free days.

Sometimes they will calculate the full price of the free day or two (before the coupon discount) and then take the discount off the other days.

To save a couple of dollars, you can redeem a free day or two, then use a coupon for so much off per day. Finally, you can reserve a space online or prepay a reservation ahead of time. Also, they offer complimentary newspapers as you arrive and bottled water as you leave. I think out of the dozen times I have parked there, I have only waited once for a van when I had just parked and only waited twice for more than five minutes at the airport on the way home (guess I should have called when I got my luggage instead of trying my luck!). Third, the service is usually quite fast and convenient. Second, it has a great online frequent parker program, which offers free parking days, car washes, or airline miles. I was certainly wrong! Rather, PreFlight was quite affordable and offered quite a number of perks that I haven't experienced at its competitors.įor starters, there are always coupons available whether on its website or in mailings. When first deciding to take a chance on PreFlight Airport Parking, I thought it would be an average-priced airport parking service with nothing special offered.
